Friday Freebies – October 17th

This week’s freebies and discounts will fill your belly, keep you warm and entertain you (I hope).

If you like to read, you might want to try reviewing books. Sign up at Harper Collins and they’ll send you books to check out before they hit the store shelves.

It’s not free, but you can certainly get your fix at for cheap at IHOP. Now through Halloween you pay just $5 for all the pancakes you can eat!

Buy a book and a cup of coffee at Barnes & Noble with these coupons.

If you’re beautiful, then you’re worthy of some freebies from L’Oreal. The catch: you have to sign up to get their special offers.

If you don’t usually watch Oprah, then you missed some thrifty tips, including five ways to save money on groceries.

How about a little help to get rid of wrinkles? You can try Garnier Nutritioniste Ultra-Lift Deep Wrinkle Treatment for free.

Speaking of shopping, if you’re not a member of Sam’s Club, you might want to join in the next week. For just $10, you’ll get access to the supersized store for the rest of the year.

Do you have any new or gently used sweaters or coats you don’t wear? Take them to Banana Republic and you’ll get 30% off regularly priced merchandise. Your clothing will be given to Goodwill!

You can get coupons and free samples from Couponmom.

I’ll be back next week with more free stuff, coupons and discounts. If you have a tip, send an email to nperez@ksat.com with “Friday Freebies” in the subject line.

If you are interested in freebies. This site http://www.sparetimeonline.net posts offers from all over the net that you do not need to earn points for. Just fill out a small survey or give your opinion in a poll, etc. Check it out. New things are posted all the time.

  2. NOTE TO READERS: if you do those surveys, make sure you create a special email to use when you sign up. These sites tend to be spammy!
