This isn’t so much a post as it is a survey. I’d like to find out how many of our readers would be interested in having a Twitter feed (or even another similar service for information from the KSAT.com newsroom).
If you remember from a few weeks ago, I liveblogged a standoff that happened just as we went on the air and have been considering mobile blogging as a form of mobile journalism. For that night, I used a service called Utterz to get the audio and video uploaded and eventually attached to the blog.
For future liveblogs, I’m considering using a service (CoverItLive) I read about and have tested personally over the last week. (Thanks, Poynter).
This isn’t to say we’re even going to use them further, but I’d like to get ideas from you readers about what you think, any challenges we would face and any ideas you have. Leave a comment and let us know.
