Friday Freebies – July 23rd

This week’s roundup has plenty of free stuff – including a few for you Facebookers! Start saving after the jump!

This one is a contest, but it  has a cool reward for  kids: design a bookmark for Borders and the winner gets a $500 gift card as well as one for their school library!

Good Morning America has been posting a daily tip to help you save a few bucks. Go here to check it out.

Teachers and students can get a jump on back to school shopping at Old Navy. Just head to the store between now and Sunday (with your school ID) to get 25% off your entire purchase.

If you like free music, you should “like” iTunes on Facebook. They have just offered a code to download free songs from artists performing at Lollapalooza.

And while you’re on Facebook, go to HEB’s page for tips and savings like this.

One more reason to get on Facebook: The Cheesecake Factory will give you a slice of cheesecake Thursday (July 29th) for $1.50 if you “like” them. Not on Facebook? You can still get a slice of cheesecake for half-price on July 30th.

From my inbox: Mark your calendar for July 29th – McAlister’s Deli is giving away a free 32 oz. sweet tea with no purchase necessary. Why? Because it’s Free Tea Day!

That’s all for this week. If you want to share a tip, send an email to nperez@ksat.com with “Friday Freebies” in the subject line.
