Freebirds is opening a new location in San Antonio – in Alamo Ranch. But before they open their doors, they’re offering free food if you make a donation to charity. Here’s the deal:

  • Wednesday, April 28: The first 250 people who show up with a non-perishable food item get a free burrito, burrito bowl, salad, nachos or quesadilla and a fountain drink. The offer starts at 11 AM and again at 5PM. Your donation goes to the San Antonio Food Bank.
  • Thursday, April 29: The first 250 people who donate $1 to Operation Homefront get a free burrito, burrito bowl, salad, nachos or quesadilla and a fountain drink.

Bookmark this site. It lists free things to do in every state! (Hint: go to page 19 on the Texas search for San Antonio free sites)

That’s all for this week. If you want to share a tip, send an email to nperez@ksat.com with “Friday Freebies” in the subject line.
