This week’s roundup has free edibles and music, plus discounts on prescription medication. I’ve also found specials for students and teachers. Start saving after the jump!

Eat healthy and save money! Click here for coupons from Healthy Choice.

Here’s one for the kids: Make a two-minute video explaining how education will help you reach your goals and you could win $1,000. Get the details from The White House.

Teachers who would like their students to read Ayn Rand can go here to get free copies of the books for the classroom. Just go here for the information.

Pharmaceutical companies are trying to help people without insurance. Check their sites for discounts on prescription medications. Take a look at the list of drug makers here. I searched a few of their sites and found the following offering savings: Pfizer, Merck, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Eli Lilly and Company. I’m sure there are other drug companies that can help, those are just the first few I found.

This freebie will require a road trip: get a free windsurfing lesson Saturday. Just go to the Padre Island National Seashore. Read all about it here.

Austin City Limits Music Festival will give you 16 free downloads from artists performing at the big show. Go here for your free tunes.

The Labels for Education program will give you a couple of free music downloads.

That’s it for this week. If you want to share a tip, send an email to nperez@ksat.com with “Friday Freebies” in the subject line.
