Friday Freebies – June 5th

This week’s roundup of free stuff has activities for kids, free donuts and lots of savings for the family. Enjoy!

Don’t let the kids forget how to read! The public library is offering all kinds of fun (and free) activities this summer.

If you have crafty kids, head out to Bass Pro Shops on weekends through July 5th for some fun. Read all about it here.

If you like the outdoors, head to the National Parks. Many of them will be free on weekends. Go here for the details and here for a list of participating parks.

More donuts! Krispy Kreme’s National Donut Day is June 5th (go by and get a free donut). Here are the locations. Dunkin’ Donuts will also give you a donut if you buy a beverage. Go here for their San Antonio locations.

Go to the Jamba Juice website, get the word of the day and say it to juicemakers to get $1 off a Blackberry Bliss. Note: the word changes daily, so make sure you’re up to date!

Burt’s Bees is celebrating its 25th anniversary by giving away goodies daily through June 20th.

If you’re patient and like contests, L’Oreal is giving goody bags with $100 worth of products for the next few months. Go here to enter. Note: You must register with L’Oreal to enter the contest.

Subscribe to Random House’s newsletter and you can download three audiobooks for free.

That’s it for this week. If you want to share a tip, send an email to nperez@ksat.com with “Friday Freebies” in the subject line.
