Friday Freebies – October 3rd

This week’s list of free and discounted stuff includes things to eat, a special discount for teachers and free music!

See what’s available now as some of these aren’t good forever!

The fine folks at Krystal are giving out samples at the San Antonio locations on Saturdays. Go here for all the details (it’s time specific). And if you want to see all things Krystal, check out their blog.

Try two of Kellogg’s health-friendly cereal and they’ll give you your money back – even if you like it!

This site has a two-fer. Get a coupon for Uncle Ben’s Rice AND donate to Kids Cafe (you won’t have to pay anything to do this good deed).

Tired of cooking the same meal over and over? Let Betty Crocker deliver new ones in your in-box – and get coupons just for signing up.

Quick! Tell all educators about this special discount at Borders only good this weekend!

Maybe your morning shave will feel a little closer if the razor’s free.

Ladies, get your face clean with a free sample of Pond’s Clean Sweep (NOTE: you must have a Costco membership for this one).

Is your skin in need of some TLC? Maybe a little sample of Jergens Naturals Daily Moisturizers will help.

If you like the band Wilco – or just want some new music to listen to – go here for a free download. The only catch: you have to promise to vote in the November election.

Need to rent a car this weekend? Get half off most cars.

Have you heard of “Word of Mouth” programs? You sign up with the companies, they’ll send you products to sample and then you tell people you know about them. Sounds spammy to me, but a reliable website has checked a few out and has this list of sites to try. NOTE: I recommend you set up a separate email account for any offer, just in case the sites do send more offers than you want. This will keep your regular inbox from filling up with spam.

That’s it for this week. I’ll be back with more freebies, discounts and coupons next Friday. If you want to share a tip, send an email to nperez@ksat.com with “Friday Freebies” in the subject line.
