DWTS – Second Elimination

Twelve couples performed their second dance of the week and that’s as far as one of them will go. Find out who did not make the cut – and read my witty recap – after the jump!

The show started with the first dance by the professional dancers. Good looking dancers – including Maks with his shirt completely unbuttoned. If I wasn’t sitting on my sofa with my laptop, I might just have to get up and dance, or at least play my Wii version of this show (I’m not bad).

Next up, a recap of last night’s show with the reaction from the couples. Cody and his deep voice saying he was a man cracked me up.

Brooke and Derek are the first couple safe from elimination. Kim and Mark join them.

Jeff and Edyta return to do the Quick Step they didn’t get to do last night, since they got the boot. They were off quite a bit. I guess since they had nothing to lose, that’s OK.

Back to the real business of the night. Cloris and Corky are safe.

Jesse McCartney takes the stage to sing “Leavin‘” while a couple of pros danced. Then, Adam Carolla takes to the streets to talk to the people about the show. After that, the couples stand under the spotlight and Maurice and Cheryl learned they are safe.

The Jonas Brothers perform “Lovebug” as some of the pros dance. One of the brothers danced a little bit with the pros. Sorry, I’m not sure which one is which, so I can’t tell you who it was, but the girls did scream – a lot. The show has been letting you choose which dance style the pros should perform and this time, the jive was selected. Then, all the stars did some trash talking about each other. And with that, Misty and Maks and Warren and Kim learn they are safe.

More elimination after the break. Susan and Tony and Rocco and Karina are safe.

And now to the last four couples. Lance and Lacey are safe. Cody and Julianne are safe. Len says it’s surprising Toni and Ted are in the bottom two. Cue dramatic music. Ted and Inna are finito.

Next week, the top 11 willreturn to take on either the rumba or the paso doble. I’ll be back with a recap after Monday night’s show.
