Watch The Bats (Update)
Update(Wed. 7-15-09)….The bats have been emerging earlier recently. Steve Browne has seen them come out at around 5 minutes before 8pm.
On Thursday July 2, 2009, join KSAT-12’s Steve Browne downtown at the Camden Street bridge to view a bat show. Kim Hoskins, a bat expert, will also be on hand to answer questions and she will be bringing a bat skeleton. Everything will get started at 8:15pm. Bats usually emerge around 8:30pm. Arrive early and get your spot along the San Antonio River Walk North. Parking is available under I-35.

i had been going all week long and yesterday was the first day that i was able to see the bats come out in one big group… i dont know if it was because of the rain.. but it eas nice.. they all came out in one big spiral affect at about 845pm…
