Help The Kids
Your kids may not want to think about it, but I hope you’ll take some time to think of the start of the school year. If you haven’t started back to school shopping already, why not start by going through your kids closets and finding their gently-used khakis and white shirts to donate to our Khakis for Kids drive?
The khakis can be pants, skirts or shirts. The shirts must be of the collared sort. Just take them to any one of these locations before Thursday, July 31.
The kind folks at Cowboy Cleaners will make them look like new. And the United Way will make sure kids who need the clothes before the start of school get them. If you or someone you know needs the clothes, call the United Way at 211.
