Bachelor Blog: The Women Tell All
I do love when the women tell all. I especially love it when they show lots of never-before-seen footage and bloopers. We got a little bit of that on this show, but it was more about recapping the drama.
First host, Chris Harrison, rehashed “pantygate”. You remember Stacey. She’s one of the most talked about bachelorettes this season and she didn’t even make it past the first episode. Stacey is the one who got really trashed and then ended up giving Matt her lacy panties as a token of her affection. Now she says she is “so embarrassed” by her behavior. “That’s not me. I am the sweetest girl,” Stacey said. She defended her panty sharing by saying she was trying to stand out. Mission accomplished. But it didn’t win over Matt’s heart.
Next up on the hot seat was a woman who stuck around a little longer — Robyn. She was the competitive faux-Brit who got on everybody’s nerves. Robyn claims that she’s never been disliked in her life and she excused her abrasiveness toward the other girls as a defense mechanism.
One of the women she had the hardest time getting along with was drama queen, Marshana. We saw a replay of all the finger waiving and neck bobbing from all her run-ins with the other women. The most memorable one, of course, was when Marshana got in a row with Robyn and Chelsea on their ski trip.
“Some people have called it the most dramatic fight in Bachelor history,” Chris Harrison recounted. (Umm .. yes, Chris, that would have been YOU who said that.)
There was another semi-confrontation between Marshana and Robyn on this show. It started when one of the women told Marshana that she created a lot of her own drama.
“But I can handle it,” Marshana shot back.
“You aren’t handling it,” Robyn chimed in.
“Robyn you are dismissed!”
From drama to heartbreak, Amanda was the next bachelorette in the hot seat. She fought back tears as they replayed the highlights of her dates with Matt and admitted she still is confused about what went wrong in their relationship. Things lightened up though when they replayed all the clips of her hiccuping … also known as … the meep montage.
Eventually, Matt was put in the hot seat, although I wouldn’t say it was that hot. Lukewarm, maybe. The women were pretty easy on him. There wasn’t a lot of tough questioning and confrontations like there have been in past seasons. But that’s okay, because they finally got to my favorite part and replayed some of the funny moments that haven’t aired this season.
And then the show ended as Stacey presented Matt with another gift.
“I know you didn’t like my lacy panties,” she told him, “So I brought you these.” Then she handed him a pair of big cotton granny panties.
“I don’t care what country you’re from … that is hot,” Chris Harrison joked.
Good times. But they’re coming to an end. Next week is the season finale when Matt completes his “journey from London to love”.

So I haven’t watched all season, but I watched this and I’ve watched here and there. I was really surprised when he ditched Amanda but I TOTALLY got it after the MEEP montage. I can’t handle that. I’m surprised she lasted as long as she did!
