Miley Cyrus Picture Controversy
I’m stepping outside of my usual trivial Bachelor-show banter to sound off on the celebrity controversy of the day. I’m sure you have not not been able to avoid hearing about miss Miley’s provocative pictures in Vanity Fair.

Some people say she looks slutty, other people don’t see what the fuss is all about. We’ve all got opinions, here’s mine …
Miley needs to leave her clothes on while she’s a child star. I personally feel that no 15-year-old needs to be nearly naked and posing in a sexy manner, but Miley Cyrus and her parents especiallyshould have known better. Shame on her and shame on Vanity Fair. And I don’t buy the fact that Miley didn’t realize they would be perceived as being sexy. PLEASE. They’re not as bad as some of the other teen stars — but I’m sorry, Miley, unlike your song — you CAN’T have the best of both worlds. Right now, your billion dollar bread and butter comes from the kid market. Your adoring young fans have made you who you are. As long as you want to continue appealing to that market, you can’t and shouldn’t try to cross over into more “mature” roles. If, at 15 years old, you feel like you want to attract the older crowd, then leave Disney and do what you want. But girl, you are only 15. I would ride this wave for a couple more years at least. You will be all grown up soon enough. Your young fans have made you a very, very, very rich teenager.
Some probably think I’m being too hard on Miley. After all, she does seem to be a pretty good girl who has her head screwed on straight. But I want her to stay that way. There are plenty of sexy stars willing to take off their clothes. What we need is someone who is brave enough to keep them on.

I feel bad 4 miley like she said sorry and now shes hiding in Nashville cuz all u people shes embarrassed and if u r reading this miley i just wanna say even if some of your fans don’t like u just cuz of all of your pics i think they weren’t real fans but i still love you and don’t back down just cuz of the pics keep going.

Everyone makes mistakes. When I first saw this picture, I was shocked, but then I realized how she must feel. I think that it was an unwise descision, but it’s an experience to learn from. Even the child stars aren’t perfect!
However, I have noticed that she is trying to act way more mature, even at the award’s thing she was dressing mature for her age. She needs to enjoy her child hood as of now, because before she knows it, it will be over. *keep the clothes on!!*

who cares? the picture was painted, it’s artwork. is art not everything from nudity to the night sky? leave her alone if she wanted to contribute to art then it’s her decision and she probably doesn’t need rude things said about her, no one does

i agree. Personally I think mainly the photo above was taken as an almost artistic manor not to be perceived as sexy (as you said) most teenage stars resort to pictures like this at one point as well as older celebrities, which is a shame because even though some people may like looking at a slinky sexy celebrity it really makes he/ she look like a man whore/ slut. I hate using those words but its more or less what it is to be seen as. But that image isnt that bad considering, its more beauty than pornography but she should seriously not be taking images like that at her age.
